About Spot Run
Spot Run started from a very simple observation: in Bucharest, Rome, Paris, Barcelona, and London, thousands of drivers circle the same blocks every morning looking for parking, while thousands of residents have spaces sitting empty right behind those buildings.
The supply was always there. It just had no address.
We built Spot Run to give it one. A map-first marketplace where anyone with an unused driveway, bay, or office slot can list it, and any driver can find it, book it, and go.
Why we started in these cities
These are not random choices. Bucharest has one of the fastest-growing car ownership rates in Europe with almost no new parking infrastructure. Rome's historic center was built before automobiles existed. Barcelona's superblocks have removed thousands of street spaces. Paris has aggressively reduced on-street parking in central arrondissements. London's congestion charge zone keeps expanding.
In each city, the gap between supply and demand is wide, and growing. That gap is the business.
How we are different
Most parking apps focus on commercial garages and airport lots. Spot Run focuses on the real supply that is already inside the neighborhoods: residential spaces, office bays, church lots, and courtyard driveways that sit empty during the hours drivers need them most.
We also cover every duration in one place. Hourly for a meeting. Monthly for a commuter. Annual for a long-term tenant. One app, one map, one payment.
The model
Spot Run charges a 5% commission on each transaction, from the renter side only. Space owners keep 100% of their listed price. We make money when renters find value, which keeps our incentives aligned with both sides of the market.
